Ponyakademie's holiday courses

During spring, summer and autumn holidays Ponyakademie offers a varied holiday programme.

The courses provide an excellent opportunity to spend a few intense days with horses and horseback riding and therefore allow students to make visible progress in a playful way.

Our holiday offers are open to all interested children and teenagers.

Ponyakademie does not provide overnight accommodation.

Intensive lessons for beginners and advanced riders (Week Camp)
(15. to 20. July 2024 and 12. to 17. August 2024)

Beginners: 

You finally want to learn more about horses? You want to understand what they are communicating? You want to feel safe at all times and sit firmly in the saddle?

We will accompany you from the very first steps right through to riding freely in the outdoor arena.

Contents of the course: building a foundation of trust between the child and the horse, introduction to the language of horses (body language and facial expressions of the horse in interaction with the child’s body language), horse keeping and care, ground work, mounted lunging lessons, riding freely in the outdoor arena (if possible), fun and games.

Advanced riders:

You can ride freely without difficulty in the outdoor arena and master the rising trot. If you are also curious to learn about other activities with horses besides dressage riding, you will be impressed by our holiday programme for advanced riders.

Of course, we will spend a lot of time during week with horseback riding. But in addition this, we will also learn about other methods and possibilities to interact with horses and thus develop an even closer relationship with them.

Contents of the course: we will discuss the details of the individual programme with the riding students at the beginning of the course week. Apart from horseback riding, the course may include the following activities: ground work, work on the lunge, trotting over poles, jumping, mounted games, horse massages.

The lessons take place daily from 9 am to 4 pm.

Costs of the course week: CHF 900.00
The price includes everything: individual lessons, use of the horses, lunch and a small afternoon snack.

Safety: The same regulations apply as for our regular lessons.
